About Ffos-y-Ffin!
Managing Director - Alexander Hartwell
Following several years as the Production Manager of a German lighting company, Alexander served for 8 years as an officer in the British Army, leading troops in Kenya, Bosnia, Germany and Cyprus. He then trained NATO soldiers in 'Multinational Operations', refining the leadership development system now employed on 'Operation Teamleader'. He started operating in 2000, and has now expanded his company to include adventure and teambuilding events. Events are run at Ffos-y-ffin, near Lampeter, and in an Army camp near Brecon.
The Team
We select our leadership instructors not from the grey ranks of management trainers, but from the military, industry and education. Confident men and women who have achieved great things, team players and experienced leaders - people from the real world.
Alexander Hartwell, Managing Director
We are leaders who like to train and not trainers who would like to lead! All of the team work hard in their own careers, and then come together to train on Operation Teamleader events. This allows us to share our experience with others.
Nick O'Brien, Sergeant - Dyfed Powys Police
These courses are second to none; We target the needs of the individual participant with such precision, I've never seen the like elsewhere.
Jeff Moulton, Lieutenant Colonel - Royal Marines
We work very hard; our priority is people and equipment in the right place at the right time. My team are professionals!
Emyr Morris, Head of Org & Co-ord
